Job/Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our production operations. The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of production workers, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, and meeting production targets while maintaining high quality standards and safety protocols. This is a working Supervisor, this role will be working alongside their team, operating equipment and leading by example. This role will primarily support our Etching department but will also support our Cut, Clean, Coat and Expose department as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, including assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance.
  • Plan and organize production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality targets.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, and coordinate with purchasing and logistics departments  
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and develop employees to enhance their skills and capabilities and provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Work alongside their direct reports operating equipment and keeping material moving.
  • Complete and adhere to 6S standards and help support and drive Preventative Maintenance on all equipment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, with a strong understanding of production processes and techniques.
  • Background in Chemical Technology or Chemical Manufacturing
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, with a commitment to creating a safe work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
