At Duininck Concrete, our customer experience sets us apart from the competition. We achieve growth through great customer service. The Concrete Sales Representative will develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and other potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience & Relationship Building:
    • Establish and maintain personal contact with existing and potential customers to drive trust and long-term loyalty
    • Build strategic relationships with contractors and industry professionals to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
    • Act as the face of Duininck Concrete, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to service excellence.
  • Sales & Lead Generation:
    • Identify and compile prospective customer lists using internal tools and market research.
    • Pursue sale opportunities related to ready-mix concrete and construction supplies, converting leads to successful projects.
    • Promote Duininck Concrete’s reputation for quality products and unmatched customer care to differentiate us from our competitors.
  • Problem Resolution & On-Site Support:
    • Proactively address job site challenges – including delivery logistics, quality concerns, and unforeseen issues.
    • Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless coordination on every project.
    • Provide on-site support during high-risk or high-profile placements to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
  • CRM & Data Management:
    • Accurately enter and maintain customer data and sales records and lead progress in the company CRM system.
    • Leverage CRM insights to track opportunities and ensure follow-ups, reinforcing Duininck Concrete’s focus on customer care.
  • Collaboration & Collections:
    • Partner with the sales and operations teams to develop competitive bids and proposals.
    • Assist in collecting overdue accounts receivable to support financial health and customer relationships
    • Perform other responsibilities aligned with business goals and customer satisfaction, contributing to Duininck Concrete’s position as an industry leader in customer experience.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous sales experience.
  • Experience in building lasting relationships between a supplier and customer
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to connect and engage with diverse customer groups.
  • A self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Valid class D driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical requirements:

  • Occasions lifting of up to fifty pounds regularly.
  • Available to work on a flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends)
