Function of Position:

To help assist in the setup of events that take place in the theatre. To learn skills such as, stage lighting, audio production, scenery construction and prop making. To help maintain the theatre as a clean and safe facility. Serve as a running crewmember for VAPA productions.

This is a Federal Work Study position. Eligible applicants MUST have received prior approval from the Financial Aid Office. If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact Financial Aid before applying.

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:

Learn about stage scenery and prop construction, set up of stage lighting and sound, assist in the performances and other campus events, such as the free children's shows, musical concerts and other events that take place in the theatre. Learn how to be a valuable crewmember. Help setup events that take place in the theatre. To learn skills such as, stage lighting, audio production, scenery construction and prop making. To help maintain the theatre as a clean and safe facility.

Required Qualifications:

• Applicants must be Federal Work Study eligible (you can confirm your eligibility with a Financial Aid representative)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently

Pay Rate: $15.50/hour
Hours per week: Up to 20 hours/week
