Position Summary:

ANSER is seeking a Software Developer to support a defense program with technical development and management of development activities related to building and maintaining software releases for their promotion to the production environment.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide development and coding support.
  • Apply the software upgrades to applications ensuring compliance and
  • version-control for both the primary and secondary data centers.
  • Design, develop, and customize software applications including writing code, integrating systems, developing and adopting Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and ensuring applications align with business requirements and processes.
  • Perform lifecycle reviews of program software development processes and the software integration labs that support them in order to drive digital modernization.
  • Facilitate implementation of software Configuration Management and Configuration Control Boards.
  • Develop and manage Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools for sustainment of 34 tools for the enterprise.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 + years hands on software development using modern languages.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of 356 Power Apps, Power BI and Qlik.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Must reside within a local commutable distance (within 50 miles) of the work location: Fairfax, VA

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and/or experience with cloud applications preferably AWS or Azure.
  • Understanding or experience with federal cloud regulations and security requirements.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in easy and digestible terms.
