Responsibilities

  • 1st level of security and loss prevention escalation manager for sites and transport business in South 1.
  • Operating from Attibele campus will provide security support to Regional Security Manager.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with DHL Supply Chain’s global security standards, programs, instructions, and guidelines across sites and transport operations.
  • Oversee the selection, training, and compliance of security personnel deployed at sites.
  • Ensure timely reporting of security incidents on the online portal (LOGICS); investigate cases under the guidance of the Security Manager and submit incident reports along with relevant documentation.
  • Conduct security audits and risk classification of sites in line with global formats, in coordination with the operations (OPS) team.
  • Manage stakeholders within the region, and coordinate with site operations and regional transport teams.
  • Effectively utilize on-site security resources, including CCTV and other surveillance systems, for loss analysis and investigations.
  • Review and drive continuous improvement of Security and Loss Prevention processes.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare BOQs for automation projects. Possess working knowledge of CCTV, intrusion alarm systems, and access control systems; manage projects end-to-end in coordination with service providers.
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies during investigations, including handling FIRs and other legal formalities.
  • Provide support and coordination on security-related matters with the Regional Security Management team.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of security agencies, ensure timely bill processing and payments, and ensure compliance with minimum wage regulations and PSARA requirements.
  • Deliver general security awareness and SAFE (Security Awareness for Everyone) training to the local workforce.
  • Promote security awareness and ensure adherence to internal security standards and requirements set by customers and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain and update regional data using Excel and Power BI.
  • Communicate all security and loss prevention-related topics effectively to relevant stakeholders.



Requirements

Security systems; Access Control, CCTV, VMS, intrusion Alarm Systems, Fire finding & fighting equipment’s.
• Analytical skills: MS Word, MS Excel and outlook.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
• Practical knowledge and experience of logistics security
• Good integrity and communication skills
• Analytical thinking and systematic problem solving.
• Basic knowledge of finance and administration
• Very well aware of local situation and needs

Overall, 5 years of Experience in Security management or 3 years + experience in Logistics Industry managing large team and assignments.
