Strategic Analysis is seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). It is of paramount importance to exceed our client expectations with high integrity and focused attention to program deliverables. In addition to working well in a team environment, as a successful candidate you will incorporate the following:

Support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) by providing expert Human Resources (HR) guidance aligned with military personnel processes. Apply deep knowledge of military human capital systems to develop and execute effective personnel strategies, ensure policy compliance, and support the integration of military talent across the agency. Work independently with minimal direction, serve as a trusted advisor to agency stakeholders, and mentor or supervise team members. Perform a variety of routine tasks to facilitate all functional areas of a human resources department. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience supporting military HR functions (specifically Air Force or Space Force)
• Experience managing military evaluations, performance documentation, and personnel actions
• Knowledge of officer assignment cycles and HR systems across the Armed Services
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to work in fast-paced, mission-driven environments
• Experience drafting and processing high-level Department of Defense award nominations
• Experience with manpower forecasting and tracking in support of military assignment cycles
• Possession of excellent organizational skills
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on site in Arlington, VA

• Bachelor’s degree
