Production Digital Surface Technician (First Shift) - Military veterans preferred

The Digital Technician responsibility is to control the optical manufacturing equipment that blocks, generates, polishes, adds backside coating, and lasers the lenses to the designated curve on the concave side of the lens. The shift is Monday - Friday, from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. The starting pay is $16/hr.

No previous experience is necessary, we will provide training.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

• Block incoming lenses.
• Transfer trays to set up table, record blocking time and put in front of tray, then transfer trays to the conveyor.
• Transfer alloy from de-blockers to blockers.

Work Environment 

This position also requires working in close proximity to a diverse group of other co-workers.
