YOUR TASKS:
Attend to Service Desk Tickets for Australia Resolver Groups.
Provide support to AU IT Team for Hosting , Network Services & Application Support Services.
Provide Proactive Notification to key stakeholders for all Emergency Incidents, via email, verbal & ticket updates.
Maintain infrastructure & data and resolve problems either through personal action or by organizing resolution through a third party (Vendor / Supplier / Regional IT Support).
Develop, participate, and comply with technical standards to ensure optimal up time of infrastructure within Australia.
Assist provide service to the Program delivery team in Australia.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Degree in Computing Science / Information Systems. ITIL certification would be an advantage but not necessary
3 year or more experience in a technical support role would be an advantage.
Must have good interpersonal & communication skills
Strong Linux /Windows skills
Red Hat Certified Administrator
Experience using Apache Software
Knowledge of CISCO Systems - CCNA
ITIL V3 Foundation
VMware vSphere
Knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud based systems
Technical Documentation Writing
Programming/scripting experience would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Relational Databases, Linux, 4GL Programming, including PHP web programming.
Experience in Linux test Utility (SED, GREP and AWK).
Ability to work on flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
