Responsibilities

Position Profile:   Material Clerk 3 – Stockroom Attendant

Job Summary:  Identifies, controls, segregates and maintains all parts used in the assembly areas.  Maintains inventory by performing the following duties.

Job Functions:
1.    Maintains inventory for the Assembly department by maintaining supplies and ensuring the proper storage of part.
2.    Pulls parts shortages for assembly orders.
3.    Count and Maintain inventory and shortages.
4.    Expedites parts through Receiving, Quality and Assembly departments.
5.    Provides material management information by entering inventory data into the computer system.
6.    Ensures all necessary inventory documentation is completed.
7.    Requires dependability in attendance, ability to work independently, handle change, stay focused under pressure and willingness to work overtime as needed.
8.    Displays initiative in tackling problems and overcoming obstacles, seeks new responsibilities, generates new ideas and alternative solutions.  Work with Supervisor and Manager to help navigate any issues.
9.    Understands job duties and responsibilities.
10.    Helps to achieve department productivity goals by establishing priorities, using good time management, completion of task and paperwork in a timely and professional manner and being attentive to detail and accuracy is a must.
11.    Contributes to team projects by exchanging ideas and options, work well with other departments and develop positive working relationships.
12.    Keeps workplace safe and clean and organized.

Qualifications

Physical Limitations:  Work may require bending, carrying climbing, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, sitting, standing and the utilization of written communication skills.  Use safety equipment where required in any area in which the above may be carried out.


Minimum Education Required:  High School DiplomaMinimum Years of Experience Required:  3 – 5 years in a manufacturing / assembly environment is desired.
