Network Provider Contract Specialist - Must be located in the New Jersey Area

Your Impact:

As our Network Provider Contract Specialist, you'll craft strategic partnerships with healthcare providers—from local physicians to major hospital systems—that deliver exceptional care while optimizing costs. Your expertise will directly enhance the healthcare experience for thousands of members while driving our organization's success.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Strategic Negotiations with diverse healthcare providers including hospitals, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities
  • Design and Develop Innovative Contracts that balance accessibility, compliance, quality standards, and financial goals
  • Build and Nurture Key Relationships with healthcare leaders to expand our network's reach and effectiveness
  • Analyze Contract Performance to identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization
  • Drive Growth Initiatives that strengthen QualCare and Coventry's market position

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Associates degree acceptable, Bachelors degree preferred.

 

Required Skills and Experience: Requires minimum five years experience in contract negotiations, specifically with provider ancillary and hospitals. 

 

Desired Skills and Experience: Workers Compensation background in addition to group health experience. 

 

 Must live in New Jersey or surrounding area.
