What You Will Do: WSB is seeking a Digital Construction Management Project Manager

WSB is collaborating with Bentley Systems to leverage the SYNCHRO Construction suite to offer SaaS plus tailored support for infrastructure projects.  The WSB and Bentley partnership will advance civil construction project delivery by cooperatively bringing to market a digital construction management (DCM) solution envisioned and delivered as a construction digital twin.  Our technical expertise in the areas of visualization, 4/5D scheduling, modeling, project controls, and construction management will be offered as value add to this core service.

The primary duties of this position include managing and selling our services including providing oversight and directing teams to:

• Act as Implementation Project Manager for Digital Construction Management (DCM) solution and deliver technical services that enable digital twins.
• Manage and execute configuration services to integrate bid, execution, and corporate data.
• Develop statements of work specific to client needs and ensure project scope and budget align with contract requirements.
• Oversee and perform development activities from gathering requirements and designing solutions to release / deployment.
• Act as conduit between technical stakeholders to deliver and develop model validation and iModel creation services.
• Provide quantity management, reporting services, and data mapping for import/export.
• Act as critical connector between contract management and production planning as SYNCHRO Cost/Perform are added to the suite of tools.
• Provide troubleshooting and training that supports all included services. Identify and respond to risks, delays, and lift barriers to timely and accurate delivery.
• Manage and communicate project status and opportunities - including debriefs with improvement recommendations.
• Communicate technical work clearly with both developers and clients. Support sales and account managers by attending customer meetings and calls as needed.
• Perform QA on customizations, upgrades, and ensure detailed documentation of the client’s implantation.

What You Will Bring 

Qualified candidates will have the following background:

• A four-year degree: preferably in construction management, IT, civil engineering, or project controls related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of applicable experience and User-Experience Design training or background
• Ability to move the industry forward through implementation and delivery of complex technical solutions across multiple teams. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Natural ability to scale and interact with all levels of an organization.
•  Experience with implementing new technology, identifying improvement needs and working with appropriate internal resources to execute within scope and budget.
• Experience developing multi-channel content including social media, digital content strategy, management, and storytelling.
• Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with clients and partners.
• Motivated to work as-needed to get the job done -- some evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Travel up to 40% of the time
• No relocation is required, but the candidate must be prepared to cover North America

Our preferred candidates will also have the following:

• Proficiency in current project controls platforms for civil infrastructure – Procore, Ineight, Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and other industry technologies.
• Experience in implementing new technology, processes, and procedures to optimize workflows.
• Natural ability to communicate across many project stakeholders – owners, contractors, engineers, third-parties, sureties, insurers.
