Overview

Manages customer reltionships for assigned strategic accounts. Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers. Works to meet revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per customer, and by identifying, developing and closing new sales opportunities. 

 

Provides technical support to customers and sales team to identify and close new opportunities. Responsible for the identification and support of the development of customized solutions to customer's specific design requirements.
Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.



Responsibilities

  • Manages and facilitates the sales activities of the assigned strategic account. Conducts meetings with customers to assess customer product requirements. Makes recommendations concerning application of products.
  • Develops and deploys account plans throughout the sales organization
  • Acts as main contact for assigned Strategic Accounts.
  • Responsible for meeting established objectives.
    • Coordinates cross functional support required to support assigned account with customers, Product Management, Engineering, Customer Service and Operations.
    • Oversees the contracts and agreements for the strategic accounts.
    • Supports business efforts to increase new business sales volume and profit margin with the assigned account.
    • Responsible for the overall customer relationship and satisfaction with Cannon.
    • Provides direction to the sales team on account strategies, programs and required actions.
    • Coordinates and consolidates major quotes, annual and multi-annual corporate purchase agreements. Becomes involved in decision and commitments on pricing, delivery: terms and conditions. Coordinates and executes major contract negotiations with OEM customers. Represents ICS in stated negotiations.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management or technical degree. MBA desirable.
  • Minimum eight (8) years in interconnector sales or marketing.
  • Strong interconnect technical acumen
  • Two (2) years direct negotiating experience in marketplace.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • This position requires visibility to controlled documents. 
  • Ability to travel as required, up to 51-75% to support assigned accounts
