About the Position
Serves as a strategic consultant and advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on human capital strategies that align with operational and organizational objectives. This role leads to complex HR initiatives, drives business transformation through people, and supports talent development at all levels. In addition, this role provides high-level HR support in areas such as workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and change management and drives people-related initiatives that support performance, culture, and growth while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. The Sr. HRBP acts as a key liaison between HR Centers of Excellence and assigned business units, ensuring alignment, integration, and execution of critical people programs.

Day in the Life - Serves as a strategic partner to leadership teams to develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Serves as coach and advisor to leaders on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with leaders to identify workforce trends, talent gaps, and organizational needs.
- Leads the implementation of HR strategies that drive employee engagement, retention, and performance for assigned business units.
- Lead initiatives in talent planning, succession planning, and performance management.
- Partners with leadership on organizational structure, change management, and leadership capability building.
- Provides expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, including investigations and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring legal compliance and cultural alignment.
- Partners with Talent Acquisition to provide strategic input into workforce planning and talent
- acquisition strategies based on business growth plans and workforce analytics.
- Creates and maintains strong, positive working relationships with internal leadership and employees, external vendor partnerships, and community contacts.
- Partners with leadership to implement strategies to improve employee morale, retention, and engagement.
- Collaborates with HR Center of Excellence (COE) on initiatives, including internship programs and representing ArchKey Solutions at local career fairs and community outreach events.
- Executes compliance reporting and ensures compliance with all regional HR reporting requirements for ArchKey Solutions.
- Utilizes data and metrics to inform business decisions, identify trends, and recommend actions.
- Consistently make decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.
- Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities.
- Promotes and models the Company's mission, vision, and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI,) and providing high-quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the public.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, human resources, or a related field.
- Master's Degree, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), HCI Professional in HR (PHR) or Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) credential preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of HR generalist or consulting experience, preferably within the construction industry or a related field, supporting organizations with over 500 employees, including both professional and skilled trades workforces. Experience with collective bargaining agreements is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing solutions and resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Broad knowledge and direct experience in human resource management across multiple HR disciplines, including talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, change management, engagement, employee relations, diversity, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, HR best practices, Affirmative Action Planning and other federal and state employment laws and related processes. Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Prominent level of integrity and leadership in employee engagement. Proven ability to develop trusted partnerships with senior leaders.
- Strong business acumen, customer service skills and experience partnering with senior leaders in a process-oriented business setting. Strong skills in developing sound recommendations for management decision-making.
- Highly effective communicator and collaborator, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas and concepts and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels and cross functionally.
- excellent written communication skills, including high quality documentation and report preparation. Superior listening, presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict management and persuasion skills, and the ability to influence employees at all levels, including senior management.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex problems with strategic thinking skills and detail orientation, and to drive appropriate scalable solutions with self-initiative.
Travel- 50% minimum travel required
