Position: Lecturer
Description:
The Economics Department at Princeton University may have an occasional curricular need for a lecturer to teach or advise undergraduate Macroeconomics and accepts applications in advance in the event the occasion arises where such a lecturer is needed. Any appointment may be for one or two semesters during the 2025-2026 academic year. Appointment duty time would depend on student enrollments, and appointments may be renewable depending on departmental need. An advanced degree is required. Applications will be reviewed based on curricular need, and the Department may not review all applications it receives. Review will occur on a rolling basis as needs arise, and will continue until any positions are filled. Expected Salary Range: $81,700 - $150,000
The University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, work experience, education/training, key skills, market, collective bargaining agreements as applicable, and organizational considerations when extending an offer. The posted salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate for a full-time position; salaries for part-time positions are pro-rated accordingly.
