Amount of Travel Required: 5-10%

Service Contract Analyst will be responsible for quoting profitable TM&R, time and material maintenance agreements, and PM rates for customers. Will also be responsible for working with partner dealers outside the Equipment Depot footprint, as needed, to support fleet customer maintenance programs. Service Contract Analysts will review and approve partner dealers’ service quotes, and will work with them to resolve disputed service items. This individual will also manage the region's installed base, PM program, including efficiency/profitability metrics and work with the Regional Service Manager to provide solutions and actionable items to increase performance in these areas.

Service Contract Analyst will review on-going TM&R contracts for target profitability levels. If contracts are not meeting targets, Service Contract Analyst will review service histories and other reports to identify the issues causing reduced profitability. Once root causes are identified, they will work with Equipment Depot’s Service Operations group or partner dealers outside of Equipment Depot to resolve issues, increasing contract profitability.

Service Contract Analyst will work with the Regional Service Manager and Fleet Services in establishing TM&R, and time and material requests for quote and contract review processes that will be used across the Equipment Depot footprint.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Responsible for quoting profitable contract maintenance rates and establishing discounted time and material PM and hourly rates, as needed, for the sales group, balancing market share growth with margin goal attainment.
  • Track and drive the contract expiration process, including extensions, replacements or terminations
  • Drive the Regional TM&R overtime reporting and invoicing process
  • Provide relevant reporting, results, & recommendations to branches within the region.
  • Manage the installed base across the region, providing customer retention, service efficiency and profitability.
  • May use a combination of O.E.M. and in-house rate calculation programs to establish maintenance rates
  • Will use historical maintenance information to aid in maintenance quoting
  • Track hourly and PM discounted rates across Equipment Depot footprint to establish pricing levels needed to gain competitive service accounts
  • Review and manage TM&R, LTR, & traditional service agreement contracts for profitability
  • Identify problem contracts and work with Equipment Depot service departments and out of state partner dealers to increase contract profitability
  • Work with Regional Service Manager to establish request for quote and quoting processes that will be used across the Equipment Depot footprint
  • Negotiate with out-of-state partner dealers in establishing out of state fleet maintenance programs
  • Facilitate open communication between the Fleet Group and Service Operations Group
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Minimum High school diploma or GED

Experience: 4+ years in service in the material handling industry, or comparable work experience. Technical background/training in the material handling industry is a must.

Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft office skills.

Other Requirements: Must be a team player.
