Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday
Travel: Up to 10% of the time

Position Summary:
Aegis Aerospace is currently seeking a Configuration Management Lead to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the IRES contract. This role may be performed at either Schriever Space Force Base or Redstone Arsenal. The Configuration Management Lead will guide a team in developing and maintaining enterprise IT configuration models and baseline controls, supporting the transition to a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment.

Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will:

• Conduct thorough audits to create and maintain accurate as-built configuration models and drawings across ITSD technical areas.
• Use Microsoft Visio and MBSE tools to develop and maintain configuration artifacts.
• Support the creation and maintenance of an MBSE program transitioning from Visio to a modern digital engineering toolset.
• Lead and train a team in MBSE tools during this transition.
• Help move Requirements and Architecture baselines under full Configuration Management (CM) control.
• Review and research Change Requests and related work tasks using the BMC Remedy™ ticketing system.
• Consult with engineering teams to understand changes and ensure all related models and drawings are kept current.
• Maintain and update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in BMC Remedy™.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have 4 or more years of direct experience in Configuration Management
• Must have an active Secret or above security clearance (exceptional candidates may be considered without an active clearance, providing they qualify for an interim clearance)

Desired Qualifications:

• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE)

Compensation:
Salary Range: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 annually. Final compensation is based on experience, education, and directly relevant certifications.
