Description:
Machine shop position focused on the set-up and operation of multi-spindle twist drills.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and assist in set ups of multiple spindle drill presses.
Ability to operate one or more drill presses efficiently
Proficient on operating hand levers or semi-automatic devices to key position the casting for new drilling.
Takes initiative keep a neat and orderly shop through 5S and general housekeeping practices
Knowledge of other machine shop equipment, machines, and instruments (calipers, mics, gauges, etc.)
Operates tow motors and cranes in a safe and efficient manner
Understands proper material handling and disposal as well as safe lifting practices
Follows all safety protocol and wears all necessary PPE for the job as well as encourages the safe work practice of others and reports safety concerns immediately.

Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to ascend and descend large equipment
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/Equivalent
6+ months machining/shop/manufacturing experience
Lift up to 50 lbs
