Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Pediatric Nursing
The Division of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is seeking applicants for an adjunct clinical nursing instructor position beginning in Fall 2025 to teach in the BSN program with CCNE accreditation. The undergraduate curriculum of the Pitt School of Nursing combines the latest in clinical theory with traditional nursing values that emphasize holistic patient care and gives students the opportunity to combine a strong theoretical base of biological and behavioral sciences with a foundation in the liberal arts. Primary responsibilities include teaching pediatric nursing clinical at UPMC's Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Master’s degree in nursing or related discipline preferred; Pennsylvania state RN license and degree in nursing required with expertise in specialty clinical area. The candidate must possess current clinical knowledge and skills and a passion for participating in the education of the next generation of registered nurses. Must have evidence proficiency with technology and commitment to innovative and evidence-based nursing education. Preference is given to candidates with previous teaching experience at the baccalaureate level and recognition of expertise in the specialty area.
