Job Summary
The Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies (WRD – https://wrd.as.uky.edu/) in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for a temporary Full-Time Instructor for the 2026 Academic Year to begin August 1, 2025. The instructor will teach four courses (12 credit hours) per semester (Fall & Spring). The specific courses will be determined by the Director of Composition and Chair of the WRD Department based on teaching needs, but will likely be WRD 110 in the fall and WRD 111 in the spring. Experience teaching technical writing (WRD 204) is also welcome.

Applicants should have Master’s degree and a minimum of one year of teaching first-year composition; a PhD is preferred.
