We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Marketing Lead Generation Specialist to join our team. This role is key to driving our growth by generating and nurturing qualified leads in the state and local government sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, and content development, with a deep understanding of the government buying cycle.

Responsibilities include:

• Demand Generation & Growth Marketing
  • Create a demand generation strategy that supports VIP’s growth objectives
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that include social, webinars, email, and paid ads that drive inbound traffic
  • Manage paid ad campaigns (LinkedIn, Google, etc) for maximum effectiveness
  • Coordinate and promote webinars and other events involving business stakeholders and external partners.
  • Continually analyze effectiveness of your efforts to make data-driven improvements
• Content & Product Marketing
  • Work with internal stakeholders and partners to create targeted content that drives lead generation among VIP’s target customers
  • Distribute content across various channels to promote prospect engagement
  • Nurture leads through the sales funnel by developing targeted content including emails, web content, blog posts, case studies, etc.
  • Own and execute the social media strategy, primarily focusing on LinkedIn
  • Optimize VIP’s SEO strategy for web-based content and prepare the company to score highly in AI-based search
  • Develop, track, and report on KPIs to focus on continuous improvement of your efforts
• Lead Generation & Nurturing
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and track conversion through the funnel
  • Ensure all leads are either with sales or are in email nurtures for latent warming
• Budget Management
  • Manage and allocate budgets across demand generation channels.
  • Monitor spending and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), adjusting strategies to maximize marketing investments

Qualifications:

• 1 to 6 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or IT services
• Proven demand generation experience-running LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, SEO, and email marketing
• Strong content marketing skills. Must show examples of your written work in email and web-based content
• Experience managing webinars and other events
• Experience in marketing to state and local agencies for a professional services firm will help you stand out
• Experience conducting meetings with leads with the goal being to gather basic business needs to qualify the lead
• Self-starter, able to execute independently and work cross-functionally

The compensation for this position is $60,000 to $100,000 per year + commission depending on experience and qualifications.
