We are currently recruiting for Logistics Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing inbound and outbound logistics operations. This role ensures compliance with international trade regulations and drives continuous improvement in logistics performance, cost efficiency, and service quality. The position collaborates with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement logistics strategies that support overall business goals.

What you will do in the position:

  • Logistics Operations & Compliance
    • Manage international and domestic shipping processes, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations.
    • Prepare and validate shipping documentation with a focus on accuracy and regulatory adherence.
    • Coordinate with carriers and customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant shipments.
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with all applicable trade laws and regulations.
  • Process Improvement & Strategy
    • Develop and implement logistics policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Apply Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to logistics operations.
    • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to support business objectives.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics-related inquiries and issue resolution.
    • Provide regular updates and reporting to leadership on logistics activities and performance.
  • Documentation & Data Management
    • Maintain accurate records of shipping documentation, tariff codes, and compliance data.
    • Administer programs such as duty drawback and document retention in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and support logistics team members, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.
    • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
    • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, and import/export operations.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping and trade compliance.
  • Experience with shipping software (e.g., UPS, FedEx) and ERP systems.
  • Experience with HTS Classification for imported and exported goods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience with duty drawback programs and hazardous materials shipping is a plus.

The posted pay range, $69,700 - $92,900, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
