Description:

Job Summary: The Information Technology Specialist II role will provide daily hands-on support of systems and applications under the direction of the Director of IT.

Requirements:

Essential Functions:


  • Administer end-user support and customer service as a team member of the IT Help Desk.
  • Execute technical instructions related to installing Windows operating systems and end user apps.
  • Perform hardware and software troubleshooting on Windows PCs.
  • Active Directory account administration and password management.
  • Assist in documenting processes, procedures, and IT training.



Required Skills:


  • Troubleshoot applications on Windows 10 or Windows 11 systems.
  • Analyze and resolve computer operating systems and software malfunctions.
  • Respond to service requests in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Create documentation and checklists related to the job at hand.
  • Effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with the team and customers.
  • Apply organizational methods and practices to manage workload effectively and efficiently.
  • Crosstrain others, as needed.



Advanced Skills:


  • Point of escalation for difficult tickets and issues as a team SME.
  • Perform technical guidance and leadership on new hardware and software rollouts, projects and implementations.
  • Troubleshoot network issues to the best of their ability, and maintain network diagrams.
  • Provide expert consultation and assistance on OCC and audit requests.
  • Facilitate technical solutions for the team while performing advanced integrations.
