Description: Description

Are you equal parts financial wizard, strategic thinker, and data whisperer? Do you dream in pivot tables and see trends others miss in a sea of numbers? SIUE is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of University Budget and Analytics (AP25-065) to lead the charge in transforming data into decisions that shape the future of our institution.
What You Will Do:
As the top budget analyst on campus, you will orchestrate SIUE's entire budget development and execution process. From big-picture planning to the fine art of account reconciliation, you will oversee it all-while making sure the numbers not only add up, but add value.

  • Designing, maintaining, and displaying university-wide budget data and analytics systems
  • Producing insightful, real-time financial reports for the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration (VCFA), and other key decision-makers
  • Collaborating with university leaders to turn budget data into actionable strategies
  • Convening and coordinating university staff to ensure budget reporting is consistent, accurate, and (most importantly) on time
  • Forecasting financial projections and providing models that drive smart, sustainable planning

You'll be a strategic advisor, a trusted voice to Chancellor's Council, and a key partner in turning institutional goals into financially feasible realities. Whether you're presenting projections to leadership or shaping university-wide budget priorities, you'll ensure that financial planning isn't just reactive-it is visionary.

Ready to Crunch the Right Numbers?
If you're excited to help lead SIUE into a data-driven future and make an impact where it really counts, we want to hear from you.
