Description of Duties:

Position Title: IBM ELM SME

Location: Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL

Shift: Day shift

Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time

The IBM ELM SME supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management suite, including:

o IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM)

o IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)

o IBM Rhapsody

• Perform all administrative functions for the IBM Engineering tools, including user management, license management, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

• Provide technical support and training to engineering teams on the effective use of the IBM Engineering tools.

• Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to the IBM Engineering tools and processes.

• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of the IBM Engineering tools with other systems.

• Manage and maintain the DB2 database associated with the IBM Engineering tools.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest IBM Engineering tools and technologies.

• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Basic Requirements:

• Must have 6 years, or more, direct IT experience

• Must have experience as an IBM Engineering SME, with in-depth knowledge of:

o IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)

o IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM)

o IBM Rhapsody

• Must have experience with performing administrative tasks and providing support for the IBM Engineering tools.

• Must have experience with DB2 database administration and management.

• Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II, or higher, Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE

• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

This position is expected to pay $130,000 - $190,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
