We are currently seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to join our Merchandising Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive data and analytical support to the Merchandising, Sales, eCommerce, and Marketing departments. This role will focus on our pricing strategy, inbound/outbound freight programs, customer promotions, and leadership reporting.

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for working across various systems to deliver insights, analytics, and accurate reporting. These systems include ERP, Rebate Management, data warehouses, and Auto Quotes. Identifying data sources and ensuring data accuracy are critical to the success of this position.

 

What you will do:

  • Provide pricing analytics across multiple brands and marketplaces
  • Deliver profitability metrics and identify margin leakage
  • Develop and present promotional scorecards
  • Support “Buy More, Save More” strategy with reporting and insights
  • Analyze managed accounts and contracts for profitability levers
  • Collaborate to build tools and processes that drive EBITDA
  • Set accurate inbound freight factors with cross-functional teams
  • Support vendor, freight, and install analysis for acquisitions
  • Build and manage PowerBI dashboards for merchandising
  • Create monthly KPI and sustainability (Eco/Enkelfähig) reports
  • Distribute vendor buying group reports and support reviews
  • Report outbound freight data and impact on margins
  • Act as a system expert across ERP and analytics platforms
  • Enhance reporting processes and reduce manual input
  • Leverage price scraping tools for data requests
  • Provide backup support for IDEAS and Special Orders teams

What we need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience with Excel and data analysis
  • Strong analytical mindset with insight-driven approach
  • Willingness to learn PowerBI and build dashboards
  • Experience with pricing strategies or food service a plus
