Physical Requirements
May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time and possibly walking several miles per day. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Job Summary
This position will serve as a manager on the Markey Cancer Center Pharmacy Team and will lead hematology clinical pharmacy services across inpatient, ambulatory, infusion, research, education, and outreach areas. Job responsibilities include management of clinical pharmacists in the inpatient and clinic settings, representing pharmacy services on administrative and clinical committees, assisting with quality and safety initiatives, implementing disease state management program in response to changing guidelines and new medications approvals, co-managing infusion, oral chemotherapy, and BMT/CAR-T services, supporting NCI designation status through improved research and patient care, and serving as a mentor and educator for interns, residents, and as a lecturer at the UK College of Pharmacy.

Strong clinical skills; ability to prioritize; excellent communication skills; knowledge of inpatient and outpatient transition of care processes; team mentality; desire to teach; and motivation are required to excel in this position.

Pharm D preferred; PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent clinical experience. 5+ years of hematology/oncology experience preferred
