Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Program Manager is responsible for leadership and day-to-day operations of a system-wide Clinical Program.  Collaborates with the Medical Director and other members of the program’s leadership team.  Develops and implements program goals and operations to provide excellence in patient care. The Advanced Practice Program Manager promotes use of evidence-based guidelines and ensures compliance with state and national standards of care for the specific clinical program.  Responsible for oversight of the program’s quality management system and monitoring of performance measures.  Responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations of other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) at designated sites and/or departments while also performing the duties of an Advanced Practice Practitioner.



Qualifications

Education:

Meets the education requirements to state licensure requirements of an advanced practice nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

 

Experience:

Minimum four years clinical patient care experience as an advanced practice provider and/or prior leadership experience of APPs required.

Demonstrated leadership and business development experience within a multisite health system environment strongly preferred

 

Skills/Knowledge:

Basic familiarity with computers strongly preferred.

Effective verbal and listening skills.

Solid problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills which promote cooperation and teamwork.

Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment within stated guidelines.
