Responsibilities- Demonstrate practical understanding of MSA Operations systems. Coordinate project teams to make focused improvements. Utilize MSA Operating System tools (KPIs, problem solving tools, action trackers, etc.) and apply behaviors to consistently meet commitments.
- Lead coordinating efforts with strong collaboration on projects / assignments with awareness of budget and milestone goals. Identify problems impacting project goals; propose solutions for customer / sponsor evaluation and implement solutions to mitigate further delays to project schedule / budget.
- Investigate and define corrective and preventative actions pertaining to defective components, materials, and products using systemic problem-solving tools and quality control systems.
- Maintain local quality certification documentation and audits.
- Document, track and provide corrective actions for quality opportunities from both internal and external sources.
- Knowledge and experience with quality and problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys.
- Solid written & oral English (daily contact with international suppliers).
- Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and SharePoint.
- Knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems requirements.
- Management and implementation of assigned PCR and CPR reports as related to both internal and external customers.Â
- Participation in the development, implementation and maintenance of process controls and reaction plans; perform routine process audits and reviews.Â
- Â Other duties as business requires.
QualificationsRequirements:
- 2 years minimum of direct hands-on quality experience with developing and setting up quality management systems, audits and inspection. Â
- Effective communications (both written and verbal).
- Strong planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with frontline managers and associates.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-energy environment.
- Ability to conduct presentations to all levels of stakeholders.Â
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive execution / passion for results.
- Strong data analytics experience - QMS, 8D, 5Why's.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering.
