The Challenge:

Counterintelligence (CI) operations play a pivotal role in protecting critical technologies and missions from exploitation by peer adversaries. JCTM is seeking a Counterintelligence Analyst to provide focused analytical and operational support to 2d MAW programs and initiatives in Cherry Point, NC.

Challenging Projects:

As a Counterintelligence Analyst supporting JCTM’s engagement with 2d MAW, you will conduct in-depth analysis of foreign intelligence threats, liaise with key agencies, and support the protection of critical technology across diverse operational environments. This role involves engaging with both CONUS and OCONUS activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counterintelligence Analysis and Production: Produce and disseminate actionable CI assessments tailored to 2d MAW operational requirements, including foreign intelligence threat assessments and collection support.
  • Agency Liaison: Coordinate with federal and host-nation law enforcement and intelligence partners such as NCIS to assess threats and support operational security initiatives.
  • Critical Technology Protection (CTP): Contribute to the development and oversight of CTP strategies; provide subject matter input to inform DoD CTP policies and ensure operationally relevant implementations.
  • Support to Operations and Targeting: Assist CI collectors with research, targeting support, source validation, and production of Lead Sheets and Targeting Support Packages.
  • Publicly Available Information (PAI) Research: Conduct PAI collection using managed attribution tools to support CI operations.
  • Force Protection Support: Deliver CI analysis and support to enhance the force protection posture of 2d MAW assets.

You Have:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Significant experience in counterintelligence operations, analysis, and interagency collaboration
  • Demonstrated ability to support CI targeting and HUMINT/CI production
  • Strong understanding of foreign intelligence entities (FIE) threat methodologies
  • Proven experience supporting DoD operations and/or aviation commands
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice to Haves:

  • CI/HUMINT course graduate or service-equivalent certification
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
  • Experience supporting Marine Corps aviation units
  • Familiarity with CTP frameworks and DoD CI doctrine

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
