Description:

Join our team as a Mammography Technologist in Yakima, WA! This role is responsible for screening mammograms, quality control tests, gathering patient histories, performing client intake, and troubleshooting patient flow delays. This position is part of our mobile medical team, providing services throughout the Yakima Valley in a state-of-the-art mobile medical unit.

Position Highlights:

  • $30.58-$37.47/Hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates

What You’ll Do:

  • Explain procedures to patients.

  • Operate mammography unit and follow safety measures.

  • Process scans, upload images, and document services.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot mammography equipment.

  • Prioritize tasks and fill in for absent technologists.

  • Order and stock necessary supplies.

  • Generate reports and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Provide care coordination and review pathology results

Qualifications:

  • Education: Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

  • Experience: At least 1 year of technical imaging experience and/or 1 year of mammography experience is required

  • Licenses/Certifications:

    • Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist

    • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

    • Certified by ARRT as a Mammogram Technologist

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

    • Auto driver's License and auto insurance

  • Skills:

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong customer relations skills, including the ability to manage stressful situations

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    • Strong organizational skills
