We are seeking a detail-oriented and systems-proficient Senior Accountant to support financial reporting and analysis for our growing IoT distribution business. This role is an integral part of the accounting team, focused on delivering accurate financial data, insightful reporting, and analysis to drive operational performance. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting acumen, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), and thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare internal financial statements and management reports in compliance with GAAP
• Create and maintain detailed reporting packages, including gross margin, inventory aging, and channel performance
• Analyze sales, cost of goods sold, rebates, and operational expenses to identify trends and variances
• Reconcile critical balance sheet accounts
• Support product and vendor-level profitability analysis and Registration/SPA (Special Pricing Agreement) tracking/reconciliations
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Purchasing to ensure financial accuracy and integrity of transactions
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process with a focus on expense planning and margin contribution
• Assist with audit support, documentation of internal controls, and continuous improvement of accounting processes
• Contribute to reporting automation and workflow improvements within D365 F&O and Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in distribution, electronics, or technology sectors
• Strong working knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or comparable ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, dynamic reporting)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting data to non-financial audiences
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities independently

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000
