Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning Fellow



Duties Include (but are not limited to):
-Assisting with coaching Olympic Sport teams in their respective strength and conditioning sessions.
-Helping conduct any testing performed with the student-athletes.
-General maintenance of the Olympic Sports Weight room.
-Taking part in a hands-on fellow curriculum to help prepare for future positions in the field of strength and conditioning.


Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree
-First Aid/CPR certification.
-Either SCCC or CSCS certification(s)
Preferred Requirements:
-Master’s Degree
-Prior experience in collegiate strength and conditioning
Skills Required:
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Professionalism in dealing with coaches and student-athletes.
-Working knowledge of computers and technology is required.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to critically assess, utilize, and troubleshoot various forms of weight room technology.
