What does the marketing team do?

DHL Supply Chain's Marketing Team creates awareness, generates interest and drives demand across the wide range of supply chain solutions, and as such plays a pivotal role in the growth of the business. This highly specialised and the experienced team are responsible for:

  • Building recognition and familiarity of the DHL Supply Chain brand among our target audience. By effectively promoting the brand message, values and unique selling propositions, marketing aims to make the brand memorable and top of mind
  • Driving leads through various marketing campaigns and channels, marketing attracts customers and motivates them to take the next step in the buying journey. By creating compelling messaging, marketing helps generate leads and conversions that contribute to sales and revenue growth
  • Understanding customers' needs by gathering data and insight which builds a deeper understanding of needs, preferences and behaviours and supports customer satisfactions and loyalty

This role will provide support to the marketing team to help our team of Campaign Managers deliver a Marketing programme that supports business growth.

What the role involves:

  • Applying CI guidelines
  • Light design adaptation
  • Writing and proofreading for social and storyboard content
  • SharePoint updates
  • Meta-tagging, tracking, and data management
  • Project management of Marketing Content and Channels – working with our systems (e.g. Workfront, Teams), processes and expert teams (e.g. Customer Engagement Development, Content Development)
  • Support Team Lead and Campaign Managers with creation of presentations, reports and other methods to communicate project status and successes
  • Support team meetings, team communications and promotion of team capabilities and successes to wider business
  • Opportunity to learn about all areas of Marketing, Strategy, Tactics, KPIs and Insights, and the part this plays in delivering the Business Strategy

Required skills and entry requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK (if you currently have a time limited VISA, you will be asked for your VISA end date as part of your application)
  • Less than 2 years work experience in marketing
  • A willingness to learn, with a desire to build a career in Marketing
  • Positive approach to work, 'Can do' attitude
  • Working towards a bachelors degree at university

Salary and benefits:

£21,000 per annum starting salary.
