Role Context

The job holder shall be responsible for the revenue generated from a geographically assigned sales territory (or business portfolio), by servicing and retaining existing customers and targeting at new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Under supervision support field sales plans and processes to achieve revenue growth, enhance customer retention and acquisition, and increase lead conversion for a defined geographic region, product line or market segment
  • Comply with established procedures to implement field sales activities for increased and profitable sales on new and existing accounts
  • Classify basic information for sales presentations, bids, etc., provide product/ service information and follow up on quotes to close business with the prospect
  • Follow up with relevant local management to coordinate customer requests and products/ services that are being promoted
  • Assist in reporting inside sales, and provide information on competitors and suppliers to product management
  • Comply with established procedures, instructions and processes without making changes to them
  • Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to others within the organization adhering to narrowly defined procedures, standards and guidelines
  • Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team
  • Communicate information that requires some explanation or interpretation
  • Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships
  • Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others

Education Requirements

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business administration, procurement and logistics management, supply chain management or related courses.

  • Minimum of five years’ experience two of which carrying out a similar role, in a related environment.
