Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator will support ongoing research studies by assisting in subject recruitment, data collection, and study coordination in adherence with institutional and regulatory guidelines. This position plays a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of research activities, with responsibilities spanning from participant engagement to data management. Training in phlebotomy to support study requirements as needed. Experience in the Behavioral Immunology Laboratory processing biological samples (blood, urine), and working directly with human subjects required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation and submission of IRB renewals, modifications, and ensure adherence to approved research protocols.
• Recruit and screen potential research participants in accordance with study guidelines and ethical standards.
• Conduct research interviews either in-person or via telephone, maintaining strict compliance with applicable study protocols.
• Administer and complete research assessments for study participants.
• Maintain and update study databases accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with data security and confidentiality regulations.
• Training in phlebotomy to support study requirements as needed.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new research personnel, as directed by the study lead or principal investigator.
• Support the administration of study assessments and other research tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related, psychology, social science, or related field.
• 6 months of full time experience in an behavioral immunology lab and/or 1 year of student work.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow complex protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a research team.
• Commitment to ethical research practices and participant confidentiality.
Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Recruits research subjects and conducts interviews and research assessments.

-Ability to transport samples to offsite lab ~20lbs
-Ability to drive team members and self to participants home
