We are searching for a highly motivated Assistant Account Executive to join our Birmingham office. 

The Assistant Account Executives primary responsibilities include: supporting all advertising campaign initiatives, responsible for assisting with day-to-day client assignments, creative/production management, trafficking, reporting, project status, meeting recaps, and overall support to senior account team members. The Assistant Account Executive, should demonstrate leadership qualities, be well-organized, eager and should work with urgency where appropriate.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations and communications of the account to ensure satisfied clients and timely deliverables.
  • Support project execution, including briefing, client presentations, internal and client reviews, legal reviews, revisions, proofing, regional translations and production
  • Lead all work orders, audits, and change requests from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Set up internal and client meetings including logistics, attendee confirmations, technology access, etc.
  • Recap all client meetings with client ready conference reports and issue within 24 hours of call/meeting
  • Generate estimates, retouching requests, ISRs, BWOs, POs, COTs and all other relevant document required to route and complete projects through appropriate systems

Project Management Responsibilities

  • Work with Project Managers to prepare comprehensive project timelines
  • Communicate shifts in project timelines with client, while proactively raising a flag to account leadership on critical shifts effecting live/production dates
  • Hold client contacts accountable for meeting deadlines within shared project timelines
  • Lead and assist in building presentations for creative briefs and client presentations
  • Oversee all project routing, ensuring internal and client approvals for each stage of the project
  • Manage and maintain asset library, including internal and external library
  • Work with the various departments to ensure each step of the creative process is followed (client/internal reviews, routing, work orders, proofing, legal, etc.)

Accountabilities

  • Show consistent excellence in client service and in building a trusting partnership with internal teams and clients
  • Work with production leads to manage the production process; ensuring on-time delivery of campaigns
  • Proactively troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and follow through skills with internal/external teams
  • Complete assignments and/or agreements within deadlines
  • Work with department leads (Account, Creative, Operations, Finance, Art Buying, Talent, Social, Media, Strategy, Production) to keep all team members abreast of project status and timeline shifts

Education and Experience

  • Six-months to one year of Account Management experience
  • A BS/BA degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Integrated experience in TV, Radio, Online, OOH and Print media with a proven track record of multitasking
  • Proficient at problem solving and brainstorming for solutions
  • Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
