Description of Duties:

Position Title: Identity and Access Management (IdAM) Lead

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL

The Identity and Access Management (IdAM) Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

• Be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our IdAM environment supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the IRES contract

• Ensure the security and compliance of systems and data through effective user access and identity management aligned with the Zero Trust Security Model.

• Strategic Leadership & Vision: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the IdAM team, aligning team objectives with overall business goals and the Zero Trust Security Model, while driving continuous improvement and proactively addressing emerging threats.

• Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IdAM professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

• Solution Design & Implementation: Oversee the design, strategy, delivery, and implementation of IdAM capabilities, ensuring best practices are followed, client business goals are achieved, and the team delivers success-driven solutions.

• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, effectively communicating IdAM strategies and solutions, and managing relationships with senior stakeholders across complex organizations.

• Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and DoD/NSS requirements, proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to identity and access management.

• Resource Management: Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and personnel management for the IdAM team, ensuring efficient and effective utilization of resources.

• Technical Expertise & Architectural Guidance: Leverage technical knowledge of identity management products to make informed architectural decisions, guide the team in implementing complex solutions, and act as an escalation point for technical challenges.

The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Requirements:

Basic Requirements:

• Must have 4, or more, years of Identity and Access Management (IdAM) experience

• Must have 2, or more, years of experience working in a management or leadership role

• Must have experience supporting and understanding the business requirements coupled with technical knowledge of identity management products (PingIdentity PingFederate, SailPoint IdentityIQ, Azure / AWS Cloud Hybrid Identity Management, Active Directory, and DoD/NSS Public Key Infrastructure).

• Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex: Security+)

• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

This position is expected to pay $120,000 – $150,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
