Job Summary
The Inspector (CMM) at Triumph Geared Solutions - Macomb is responsible for performing in process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and or sub-assemblies in the Quality Department. The Inspector (CMM) must be able to perform First Article Inspections according to Triumph Geared Solutions quality department work instruction.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform in process and final inspection on machined parts, and or sub-assemblies.
- Complete inspections to engineering requirements.
- Ability to build CMM Programs.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer blueprints.
- Use micrometers and calipers to perform First Article Inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, College Associates, and or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft products and excel.
- Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
- Minimum Experience 5 Years CMM Inspection
Physical Requirements
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to use hand tools.
