This Opportunity:

  • Part-time role supporting both in-office and remote staff by performing a variety of administrative duties
  • Based in the Minnetonka, MN office, working 4–6 hours daily over three days (preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
  • Responsibilities include word processing, managing spreadsheets, data entry, and records management/filing
  • Answering phones, handling office opening/closing tasks, processing mail and shipments, managing supplies, and maintaining office cleanliness
  • Assisting with vendor contracts and order fulfillment
  • Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and SEH team members
  • Supporting event planning as needed
  • Escalating questions or issues to appropriate staff
  • Coordinating projects and drafting reports


Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to understand and complete complex tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and solid organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative on tasks and projects
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment, including computers, copiers, scanners, and phones


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign
  • Experience using Workday
  • Ability to manage multiple projects through effective prioritization and scheduling
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software and support both office and project managers
  • Familiarity with construction documents (e.g., specifications and related materials)
  • Previous experience in an engineering or architecture firm
