Program Coordinator - ED-LEAD Study



The University of Pittsburgh Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a Program Coordinator for the ED-LEAD Study to:

• Track and encourage training of ED staff

• Update ED Provider and Staff lists

• Assist with Patient Flagging and Navigator Tutorial development

• Print/hang marketing flyers, develop Swag

• Conduct Weekly 30 min meetings with ED-LEAD study team

• Reinforce huddles/patient navigator use

• Support ED Champions/Site PI

• If other programs in place, educate in-ED staff on AVS and Referrals to Nurse and Paramedic follow up programs

• Assist with real time data reporting


Job Summary

Conducts research assessments on study participants. Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Assists with training staff. Ensures adherence to protocols and corrects issues with data collection.

o Comfortable encouraging staff and promoting marketing techniques


Physical Effort

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and ability to carry up to 15 lbs.
