This job is an internship for Business & Logistics students. You would learn from our senior experts and work in Order Management Solutions (OMS) Department. You might like this job because it offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various areas of the department and learn from experienced professionals.
During this internship, your daily job scope consists of different area within the department of OMS.
Provide Vendor Management service by proactively contacting vendors to acknowledge orders have been received by customer.
Follow up with vendors for orders approaching their “Ship Date” to ensure they make the bookings with DHL origins using Open Order report.
Receive and process vendor booking request and also handle the vendor exception (booking and receiving) and request customer approval if required.
Arrange shipment (FCL, LCL or Air) in response to pre-agreed instruction or in response to specific instruction from customer.
Book space and equipment and co-ordinate delivery of containers from vendors to the designated CY or port or arrange CFS consolidation.
Handle all necessary documentation received from suppliers and ensure they are uploaded into system or sent to destination as per defined timeline.
Complete data entry in system from the point of vendor booking, container loading in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensure system is updated with the agreed milestones with agreed timeframe.
Arrange additional Value Added Services with operations if required.
Provide a comprehensive and agreed KPI report if required.
Provide daily operational reports to meet customer requirement of customer.
Produce invoices for the management of all DHL services if required.
To be successful in this internship, these are the requirements:
Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and supply chain. July 2025 & Aug 2025 onwards.
It will be added advantage if you have previous experience dealing with customers.
Being able to write and speak professionally in English.
Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
This internship location is at Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
We welcome students with at least 4-6 months internship to apply with us! Successful candidate will be provided internship allowance on a monthly basis.
