As an experienced DevOps engineer, you will be comfortable working on a variety of platforms, Redhat Linux & Kubernetes based services, supporting several critical applications for the Post and Parcel Business in Germany.

You should already have extensive experience with Linux operating systems, preferably RedHat based, in an enterprise setting and technical proficiency working with container technologies. This should include practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker or Podman and pipeline delivery tools like Jenkins, Git Actions, HELM charts or Ansible scripting.

This position would suit someone with a strong background in Azure services looking to grow into a strong application support team, where you should be ready for a challenge and have genuine enthusiasm for learning. 
You’ll also need good communications skills and be able to work well as part of a multicultural team.

Essential skills:

Proven experience managing / configuring Azure resources.
Enterprise application support experience using Redhat or other Linux based distributions. 
Practical Kubernetes knowledge  (management / deployment / problem solving).
Experience with at least two of the following scripting languages or tools (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible)
Ability to write, edit, understand, and apply scripts for automation and service configurations based in Yaml.
A self-starter who takes a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to act with autonomy
Excellent communication skills

Nice to have skills:

Monitoring & Automation tools (any of the following) Topaz, BAC, Ansible, Splunk, Zabbix, Nagios
Familiarity with general networking concepts, including firewalls and gateways
CI/CD Pipeline tools, Jenkins, Git Automations, GitLab
Database technology at any level, SQL, PostgreSQL
Windows administration knowledge
