We are seeking a full-time, remote Case Management Referral Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this position is timely and accurate processing referrals from start to finish, including entering referrals, assigning referrals, and sending the referral confirmations to the customer.

Hours: Monday – Friday, with a start time of 10a or 10:30a, working until 7p CST

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the referral email inboxes.
  • Assigning, entering and fulfilling referrals submitted in the ALARISware System.
  • Attending ongoing training/calls as needed.
  • Able to decipher geographical locations accurately and make accurate decisions based on such.
  • Handling of re-opening cases.
  • Processing any payor, insurer, jurisdiction, claim number or case type changes on an open case
  • This position may have other duties as assigned by the Referral Coordinator Supervisor or the Referral Operations Manager..

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications such as Microsoft products.
  • Knowledge of basic business and customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Ability to establish interpersonal relationships in a virtual work environment.
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a member of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Clear, concise and professional verbal and written communication.
  • The ability to operate a personal computer for extended periods.
  • The ability to gather, synthesize and communicate information accurately (verbally and in writing).
  • Ability to maintain a home-office environment with high speed internet connection and appropriate work privacy.
  • Ability to attend in person and/or phone meetings as directed.
