Technical Writer / Content Developer

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Technical Writer / Content Developer to join our Operations team with matrixed support across our Business Units. This role is responsible for developing high-quality content in support of technical and non-technical proposals, responses to RFIs, and strategic growth efforts spanning defense, federal civilian, and commercial markets.
In addition to active proposal support, this individual will curate and maintain internal content to enable scalable reuse through our AI-powered knowledge systems. They will also contribute to marketing and strategic communications by producing content such as white papers, capability statements, slick sheets, and other branded collateral that reflects our technical expertise and market positioning.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging content tailored to diverse audiences. They must be highly collaborative, adaptable to shifting priorities, and capable of working across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience writing technical and marketing content for government contractors, consulting firms, or technology organizations.
Proven ability to support the proposal development lifecycle, including both narrative and technical volume development.
Strong attention to detail, editorial skills, and ability to synthesize input from subject matter experts.
Familiarity with federal and commercial procurement environments and solicitation structures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with content management systems such as SharePoint or Confluence.
Experience developing content for defense and other military services, federal agencies, and commercial clients.
Familiarity with AI-enabled knowledge tools and structured content systems.
Visual communication skills or experience with layout/design tools such as Adobe InDesign or Canva.
