IN-OFFICE Position

The Inside Sales & E-Commerce Support Specialist plays a key role in executing Air Culinaire’s E-commerce sales strategy. This position focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction and driving online revenue growth by actively engaging with customers using our e-commerce portal and API integrations. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with strong communication and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers using the e-commerce portal, ensuring a seamless online experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with portal users to maximize wallet share and repeat usage.
  • Proactively identify, research, and qualify new sales opportunities and leads through e-commerce interactions.
  • Conduct outreach to existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and encourage online engagement.
  • Support the implementation of strategies to grow e-commerce sales and improve customer conversion.
  • Collaborate with the SVP and other internal stakeholders to align e-commerce efforts with company goals.
  • Monitor customer feedback and usage patterns to identify areas for process and platform improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications, opportunities, and outcomes in the CRM system.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new customers on portal functionality as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, e-commerce support, or customer relationship management (aviation or hospitality industry preferred).
  • Four-year degree in business or hospitality or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and online sales tools (BigCommerce experience a plus).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • High level of professionalism, responsiveness, and customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook

Reasoning Ability

Proficient in critical thinking, with the ability to assess information, identify patterns and draw logical conclusions. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form to achieve optimal outcomes.


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk and/or hear. The employee is required to use hands to type and to answer and dial telephones and process fax transmissions.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with B2B e-commerce platforms or aviation catering solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer data and identify trends.
  • Comfort presenting new tools and features to customers via phone or web conference.
