Unified Communications Support Engineer - Military veterans preferred

Position Summary

TOP SECRET Clearance REQUIRED

This is an ONSITE position located in Fairmont, WV or Clarksburg, WV.

NCC is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to support an upcoming contract upon award.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Provides technical direction and analysis for telecommunication activities, including planning, designing, configuring, integrating, installing, and maintaining large-scale voice, video, and data telecommunications/ communications networks and services with computer systems. 
• Applies telecommunications/communications engineering principles and theory to propose design and configuration alternatives. 
• Analyzes network performance, usage and traffic flows, accesses and interfaces, transmission techniques, and protocols to interface with computer systems. 
• Responsible for complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities associated with one or more technical areas within the telecom function such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or operations/user support. 
• Must have experience with multiple audio technologies and applications. 
• Troubleshooting proficiency and demonstrated experience with customer interaction are required.

Minimum Requirements

• Active TOP SECRET clearance at the time of application.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field.
  • Certifications, education or past work will be acceptable in absence of years of experience.
