Job Summary
The APP functioning within the ambulatory adult hem/BMT clinic setting works in collaboration with, and is an integral member of, a multidisciplinary health care team.
The APP functions primarily in the clinic managing the care of acute and chronically ill patients of this specific population including possible outpatient procedures.
The APP is generally service aligned team and manages the care of the outpatient with the team. In some instances the APP may have responsibilities for this same patient population in the consultative inpatient setting or serves a resource for the inpatient care team. The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice and education.
