About the Job

We are seeking a talented and experienced SQL Developer with C# or C++ knowledge to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our main transport management system, helping us make the application future ready, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Principal Accountabilities

• Design, Develop, and maintain the SQL code within the MS SQL server environment, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and security
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction and manipulation
• Optimize database performance through indexing strategies and query tuning
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Write and maintain technical documentation

Knowledge and skills required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in MS SQL server development
• Strong proficiency in C# for REST API development OR C++ for front-end application development
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Extra; Knowledge of  cloud platforms (Azure) or willing to learn
