- Create and confirm transport orders to ensure pickup of the shipment at the origin
- Perform booking and booking optimization according to internal guidelines as defined by Product
- Prepare, control and distribute all required Import/ Export documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee, supplier, etc.) complying with regulations and internal procedures
- Check responses from counterparts and finalize validation of required documents
- Follow up on shipment status in the Import/ Export area, identify incidents and ensure resolution of incidents
- Support Customer Service in the incident and exception management resolution
- Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers
- Is responsible for identifying performance issues of suppliers and proposes solutions to improve/correct performance
- Perform IT systems-related tasks to provide up-to-date information on shipment
- Interact with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers, if required
2/ Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Ocean Freight Operations
- Bachelor's degree in International Business/ Supply Chain Management/ Import - Export
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Ocean Freight Operations
- Good English communication/writing skills
- Good administrative skills
- Hard-working, able to work under pressure
- Results-driven and attention-to-details
