Administrative Assistant



This position supports core business functions, including:

  • Managing complex calendars for the Deputy CIO and Executive Directors
  • Providing on-site office support and front desk coverage for the Office of the CIO
  • Purchasing equipment, software, and supplies for the Computing Labs and Drop-in Support Desk and Pitt IT staff
  • Coordinating business travel and processing expense reports

This position requires the utmost professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion. Successful candidates must be resourceful with excellent organizational skills and adapt to multiple and changing priorities.

Responsible for office support functions. These could include, but are not limited to, coordinating and managing office activities, managing schedules, and participating in expense account reconciliation.


A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position and a Bachelor's degree is Preferred.
